Ignition Coil
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect wiring from ignition coil terminals. Connect an ohmmeter across coil terminals. See Fig 1. On Integra, reading between "A" and "D" terminals should be 1.2-1.5 ohms. On Legend, reading between "A" and "D" terminals should be .3-.4 ohms.
- Set ohmmeter in x1000 range. Connect ohmmeter leads to ignition coil positive terminal and coil tower terminal.
- On Integra and Legend, resistance between "A" and secondary winding terminals should be 9040-13,560 ohms. If readings are not within specification, replace ignition coil.
