Electronic Idle Control Solenoid Valve (EICV)

The ECU controls electrical current to EICV and maintains correct idle speed. The EICV is activated when the engine is cold, A/C is on, transmission is in gear (A/T only), power steering oil pressure is high, and alternator is charging.
