Fuel Pressure Regulator Cut-Off Solenoid Valve
- Engine coolant temperature must be greater than 221°F (105°C) and intake air temperature must be greater than 176°F (80°C). Disconnect 4-wire fuel pressure regulator cut-off solenoid valve connector.
- Connect voltmeter positive lead to Black/Yellow wire terminal and negative lead to Light Green wire terminal. Measure voltage within one minute after starting engine.
- If voltage is present, replace cut-off solenoid valve. If voltage is not present, move negative lead to body ground. If voltage is now present, go to next step.
- Check for short in Light Green wire between cut-off solenoid valve and ECU. If wire is okay, substitute a known good ECU, and retest. If problem goes away, replace ECU.
