Cable Reel: Integra

  1. Remove steering wheel. When steering wheel is removed, SET/RESUME switch will be disconnected from cable reel. Remove steering column covers. Disconnect cable reel 3-pin connector from main harness.
  2. Using a DVOM, check for continuity between cable reel 3-pin connector (disconnected from main harness), Blue/Red wire and cable reel 3-pin connector (to SET/RESUME switch) terminal "D" while turning cable reel. See Fig 1 .
  3. Check for continuity between cable reel 3-pin connector Light Green/Red wire and cable reel 3-pin connector terminal "E" while turning cable reel. See Fig 1 . Continuity should be present. If continuity is present, cable reel is okay. If continuity is not present, replace cable reel.
