Set/Resume Switch: Integra

  1. Remove steering wheel. Disconnect SET/RESUME switch 3-pin connector from cable reel. Using a DVOM, check for continuity between SET/RESUME switch 3-pin connector terminals "A" and "C" with SET pressed. See Fig 1 . Continuity should be present. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, replace SET/RESUME switch. See SET/RESUME SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  .
  2. Using a DVOM, check for continuity between SET/RESUME switch 3-pin connector terminals "B" and "C" with RESUME pressed. Continuity should be present. If continuity is present, SET/RESUME switch is okay. If SET/RESUME switch is okay and cruise control system is malfunctioning, see CABLE REEL under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING  . If continuity is not present, replace SET/RESUME switch. See SET/RESUME SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  .
