Legend & Vigor

  1. Disconnect pressure switch connector and pump motor connector. Connect an ohmmeter between Yellow wires of accumulator pressure switch connector. See Fig 1 .
  2. Apply battery voltage to Red/White wire on pump motor connector. Ground Green terminal. Install an on/off switch in negative lead. Turn switch to ON position. Allow pressure to build inside accumulator. Check for continuity at pressure switch.
  3. Once continuity is indicated, allow pump to operate for 10 more seconds. Turn switch to OFF position. If solenoid hisses or squeaks, replace modulator. Check for continuity at pressure switch within 30 minutes. Continuity should exist. If no continuity exists, solenoid is faulty. Replace modulator.
