Code 1-4, Pressure Switch Circuit

  1. Using ABS "T" Wrench (07HAA-SG00100), bleed high pressure fluid from maintenance bleeder screw. See RELIEVING ACCUMULATOR/LINE PRESSURE  under BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM. Disconnect 2-pin connector from pressure switch. Check for continuity between pressure switch terminals. If no continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity exists, pressure switch is defective.
  2. Check for continuity between Yellow wire of pressure switch connector and ground. If continuity exists, repair short in Yellow wire between pressure switch and control unit. If no continuity exists, check for loose control unit connectors. If connectors are okay, install a known good control unit and retest.
