Bench Testing: Rotor

Ensure bearing rotates smoothly. Connect ohmmeter between slip rings and rotor and rotor shaft. See Fig 1. Continuity should not exist. Connect ohmmeter between slip rings. Continuity should be present. If continuity is not as specified, replace rotor.
