Cooling Fan Motor

Unplug 2-pin connector at fan motor. Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage to terminal "A" of fan motor connector. Ground terminal "B." See Fig 1 . Fan motor should operate. If fan motor fails to operate, replace it. If fan motor operates, check related components and wiring. See COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR/SWITCH and TIMER UNIT & FAN CONTROL UNIT.
