Electric Cooling Fans: Operation: Integra

Integra cooling fan is controlled by a coolant temperature switch and relay. The fan on A/C-equipped models is operated by a cooling fan timer unit, through a condenser fan relay. If engine temperature is greater than 226°F (108°C) when ignition switch is off, the cooling fan timer supplies power to the fan for up to 15 minutes after engine is shut off. Cooling fan timer unit is located under dash, on right side of heater unit.
