DRIVETRAIN VIBRATION ON ACCELERATION

YEAR(S): Mid 1980's and Up

MANUFACTURER: Acura & Honda

MODEL(S): All Honda Accord & Acura Integra

ISSUE & TIP

Some Honda Accord and Acura Integra models from the mid-80s and later may have a vibration on acceleration that can be felt through the body.

This vibration is more noticeable during hard acceleration and can also be felt through the floor or seat.

We have found the cause of this vibration to be worn inner CV joints. Remove and replace the drive axle or inner CV joint to cure this problem.
