Removal (Integra With Automatic Transaxle)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove horn pad and steering wheel. Remove upper and lower steering column covers. Remove lower dashboard panel and left knee bolster. Disconnect ignition switch 7-pin connector from main wiring harness.
  2. Remove steering column mounting bolts/nuts. Lower steering column assembly. Center punch both shear bolts. Using a 3/16" drill bit, drill heads from bolts. Remove shear bolts and ignition lock assembly.
