DTC 17: Vehicle Speed Sensor

If self-diagnosis Check Engine light indicates code 17, a problem may exist in the Vehicle Speed Sensor circuit. See Fig 1 . The signal generated by the speed sensor, produces pulses when the rear wheels turn.
