Ignition Coil Power Source

  1. Remove distributor cap. On all models, disconnect ignition coil primary leads. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, check voltage between ground and Black/Yellow wire (terminal "A") of ignition coil(s) wiring harness. See Figure.
  2. Ensure battery voltage exists. If battery voltage does not exist, check for open in Black/Yellow wire between ignition coil and ignition switch. If wire is okay, go to IGNITOR INPUT TEST  procedure.
