Brake Switch Signal

  1. Ensure stoplights operate properly. Connect ECM Test Harness (07LAJ-PT3010A ) to ECM main harness. DO NOT  connect test harness to ECM. Measure voltage between test harness terminals D2 (positive) and A26 (negative). See Figure .
  2. Depress brake pedal. If battery voltage is present, switch is okay. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in Green/White wire and ECM terminal D2.
NOTE: Fast idle thermovalve is factory adjusted and should not be disassembled.
