Brake Switch Signal

  1. Ensure stoplights operate properly. Connect ECM Test Harness (07LAJ-PT3010A) to ECM main harness. DO NOT connect test harness to ECM. Measure voltage between test harness terminals D12 (positive) and A26 (negative). See Figure .
  2. Depress brake pedal. If battery voltage exists, switch is okay. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Green/White wire and ECM terminal D12.
NOTE: Fast idle thermovalve is factory adjusted and should not be disassembled.
