Code P0103 - MAF Sensor High Input
- Clear codes. Start engine. Retrieve codes. If Code P0103 appears, go to next step. If Code P0103 does not appear, problem is intermittent. Inspect for poor connections or loose wires at MAF sensor and ECM, then repair as necessary.
- Follow scan tester manufacturer's instructions to read mass airflow. If indicated airflow is greater than 190 grams per second, go to next step. If indicated airflow is not greater than zero grams per second, problem is intermittent. Inspect for poor connections or loose wires at MAF sensor and ECM, then repair as necessary.
- Turn ignition off. Test for continuity between ECM connector D19 (Blue/Red wire) and ground. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, temporarily substitute known good ECM, then retest system.
- Unplug 22-pin connector "D" from ECM. Unplug MAF sensor connector. Connect jumper between ECM harness connector terminal D19 (White/Blue wire) and ground. Test for continuity between MAF sensor connector White/Blue wire and ground. If continuity exists, replace MAF sensor. If continuity does not exist, repair White/Blue wire.
