Code P0300 - Random Misfire
- If any of the following codes are set, service them first:
- P0101, P0102, P0103
- P0171, P0172
- P0505
- P0335, P0336
- P1359, P1361, P1362
- P1381, P1382
- P1508
- Test-drive vehicle under conditions at which the problem occurred. If the problem occurs only under low RPM and low load, go to next step. If the problem occurs only under acceleration, go to step 4). If the problem occurs only high RPM and high load, go to step 5). If the problem occurs under other conditions, go to step 6). If misfire doesn't recur, other possible causes are poor fuel, lack of fuel, or deposits on spark plugs. See MISFIRE TEST ITEMS .

- Inspect misfire test items in the following order: 9, 8, 2, 1, 4, 3, and 7. See MISFIRE TEST ITEMS . Correct defects as necessary.
