DTC P1607: Pcm Internal Failure

NOTE: When substituting a known-good PCM, immobilizer code must be rewritten using Honda PGM tester, or engine will not start.

Connect and operate scan tester, following manufacturer's instructions. Clear codes. Turn ignition on. Wait 3 seconds, then retrieve codes. If DTC P1607 does not appear failure is intermittent, fault not present at this time. If DTC P1607 appears, substitute a known-good PCM and recheck for symptom or DTC.
