2-Way Valve
- Remove fuel filler cap. Two-way valve is located above EVAP canister. Remove upper vapor hose from 2-way valve. Connect a vacuum pump and vacuum/pressure gauge to upper port on 2-way valve.
- Slowly apply vacuum while observing vacuum gauge. Vacuum should stabilize momentarily between .2 and .6 in. Hg. If vacuum does not stabilize (valve opens) in specified range, replace 2-way valve and retest.
- Install a "T" in vacuum hose to vacuum/pressure gauge. Slowly pressurize vapor line while observing gauge. See Fig 1 . If pressure stabilizes at .3 in. Hg, valve is okay. If pressure does not stabilize at .3 Hg, replace 2-way valve, and retest.
