Engine Stalls
- Check fuel pressure. See the BASIC TESTING article.
- Check ignition system. See the BASIC TESTING article.
- Check Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. See DTC P1508 in the TESTS W/CODES article.
- Check MAP or MAF sensor (as equipped). See DTC P0101, P0106, P0107 or P0108 in the TESTS W/CODES article.
- Check for contaminated fuel.
- Check idle speed adjustment. See the ADJUSTMENTS article.
- Check CKP/TDC/CYP sensor (if equipped). See DTC P0335, P0336, P1336, P1337, P1361, P1362, P1366, P1367, P1381 or P1382 the TESTS W/CODES article.
- Check brake switch signal. See the SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article.
