Window Glass
- Place the vehicle on a firm, level surface when adjusting the glass. Check the weather-strips and glass run channel for damage or deterioration, and replace them if necessary. Remove door panel. See DOOR PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove plastic cover.
- Make sure the guide pin is installed in the rear channel guide properly. See Figure . Raise the glass. Loosen the glass mounting bolts and regulator mounting bolts. Push the glass rearward.
- Tighten the glass mounting bolts and regulator mounting bolts. Loosen the front channel mounting bolts. Lower the glass. Push the front channel against the glass, then tighten the mounting bolts.
- Check that the glass moves smoothly. Raise the glass fully and check for gaps. Check for water leaks. Attach the plastic cover, then install the door panel.
