Retrieving Trouble Codes
- Connect SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) to 2-pin service check connector located under glove box. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to ON position (without starting engine). Record blinking TCS indicator light sequence. See Fig 1 .
- After 2 second bulb check, TCS indicator light will turn off for 0.5-2.5 seconds, then begin indicating first DTC. Three different DTCs can be stored at once. TCS control unit will not store the same DTC more than one time. DTC cycles will be repeated after a 3.3 second pause. To recheck DTCs, turn ignition off and then turn it on again. After DTCs have been retrieved, conduct appropriate test procedures. If light does not flash DTC(s), see TCS INDICATOR LIGHT REMAINS ON, BUT DOES NOT FLASH TROUBLE CODES.
NOTE:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) will stay on after engine is started if SCS service connector is connected.
