TCS Indicator Light
TCS indicator light will come on for a bulb check when ignition switch is turned to ON position. When TCS ON/OFF switch is turned to OFF position, TCS indicator light will come on and stay on. TCS indicator light should go out when TCS ON/OFF switch is turned to ON position. If TCS self-diagnostics detects a system problem, TCS indicator light will come on and stay on. TCS indicator light will flash when TCS is controlling engine output. TCS indicator light will occasionally come on or stay on even with system operating normally under following conditions:
- Coolant temperature 32°F (0°C) or less.
- Vehicle is driven with parking brake on longer than 30 seconds.
- Tire pressure not at specification.
- Vehicle spin.
- Fault in PGM-FI system (MAP sensor, ECT sensor, ICM or Atmospheric Pressure sensor).
