Bench Testing: Rotor

Ensure rotor bearings rotate smoothly. Using ohmmeter check continuity between slip rings and rotor, individually. Check continuity between slip rings and rotor shaft, individually. Refer to Fig 1 . If continuity exists, replace rotor. Check continuity between slip rings. If continuity does not exist replace rotor.
