2.3CL, 3.0CL, 2.5TL & 3.2TL

Remove dashboard lower cover and knee bolster. Disconnect main harness 8-pin connector. Use DVOM and check for continuity between main harness 8-pin connector terminals No. 5 and 8 (terminals No. 4 and 7 on 2.5TL & 3.2TL). See Fig 2 . Continuity should be indicated with key in ignition switch. Continuity should not be indicated with key out of ignition switch. If continuity is not as indicated, replace ignition switch. See IGNITION SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
