Starter Switch Signal: 2.5TL
Backprobing, measure voltage between PCM 26-pin connector terminal No. 26 (Brown/Black wire) and the PCM 16-pin connector terminal No. 5 (Blue/Red wire) with ignition switch in START position. See Figure. If battery voltage is present, starter signal is okay. If battery voltage is not present, inspect STARTER SIGNAL fuse No. 9 (7.5-amp), located in underdash fuse/relay box. If fuse is okay, repair open in Blue/Red wire between PCM 16-pin connector and STARTER SIGNAL fuse No. 9. If fuse is blown, repair short in Blue/Red wire between PCM 16-pin connector and STARTER SIGNAL fuse No. 9 or PGM-FI main relay. Replace STARTER SIGNAL fuse No. 9.
