Starter Signal

Connect ECM test harness between ECM and harness connector. Measure voltage on ECM test harness terminals B5 (positive) and A26 (negative) with ignition switch in START position. See Figure . If battery voltage exists, starter signal is okay. If voltage does not exist, inspect fuse No. 9 (7.5-amp). If fuse is okay, repair open in Blue/Red wire between ECM and fuse No. 9.
