Preliminary Inspection

Check generator wiring harness connections and drive belt tension. Ensure battery is fully charged. On 3.2TL, ensure fuse No. 20 (20-amp), located in underdash fuse/relay box is okay. On 3.5RL, ensure fuses No. 15 (7.5-amp) and No. 4 (20-amp), located in underdash fuse/relay box are okay. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Charging system light should come on. If charging system light does not come on, check for blown charging system light bulb and replace as necessary.
