2.3CL & 3.0CL

Remove dashboard lower cover and knee bolster. Disconnect main harness 8-pin connector. Connect battery voltage (B+) to ignition switch terminal No. 4, and ground terminal No. 2. See Figure. Light Emitting Diode (LED) should come on. If LED does not come on, replace LED. See IGNITION SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
