Position Memorizing

  1. Connect SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) or Honda PGM tester to 2-pin service check connector located under glove box. See Figure. Turn ignition on. Press VSA OFF switch twice before VSA activation indicator comes back on. VSA activation indicator will turn on, then off, then turn back on and stay lit.
  2. Within 8 seconds, turn steering wheel to right until VSA activation indicator goes off. Quickly allow steering wheel to return to center position, then within 8 seconds, turn steering wheel to left until VSA activation indicator goes off. Return steering wheel to center position.
  3. Within 12 seconds, press VSA OFF switch. VSA activation indicator will turn off briefly, then VSA system shifts to neutral position check mode. Ensure that VSA activation indicator turns on when steering wheel is straight ahead, and goes off when steering wheel turns to right or left more than 2.5 degrees. Press VSA OFF switch. VSA activation indicator will blink. If VSA activation indicator does not blink, repeat this procedure.
