Right Mirror Inoperative

  1. Connect a fused jumper wire between power mirror switch connector terminal "I" (Black/Yellow wire) and terminal "F" (Blue/White wire). See Fig 1. Connect a second fused jumper wire between terminal "E" (Yellow/White wire) and ground. Right mirror should tilt down. If mirror does not tilt down, check for open in Yellow/White wire between power mirror switch and right power mirror. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wire is okay, go to next step.
  2. Move second fused jumper wire from terminal "E" (Yellow/White wire) to terminal "C" (Blue/Black wire). Right mirror should swing left. If mirror does not swing left, check for open in Blue/Black wire between power mirror switch and right power mirror. If wire is okay, check right mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTS.
  3. If mirror does not tilt down and does not swing left, check for open in Blue/White wire between power mirror and right power mirror. If mirror operates properly, check power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
