Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Recognition
ABS control unit recognizes system related problems, stores a DTC, and causes ABS indicator light to come on. The ABS light may come on when the system is operating normally under any of following conditions:
- Only drive wheels are rotating.
- One drive wheel is stuck.
- Vehicle spin.
- ABS operating condition continues for long time.
- Signal disturbance.
If ABS indicator light remains on or comes on intermittently, use Honda PGM Tester to confirm problem. See RETRIEVING TROUBLE CODES under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
