Left Mirror Inoperative

  1. Connect a fused jumper wire between 10-pin connector terminal No. 1 (Yellow/Black wire) and terminal No. 7 (Blue/Green wire). See Figure. Connect a second fused jumper wire between ground and 10-pin connector terminal No. 4 (Blue/White wire). Turn ignition on. Left mirror should tilt down. If mirror does not tilt down, check for open in Blue/White wire between power mirror switch and left mirror. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wire is okay, go to next step.
  2. Move second fused jumper wire from terminal No. 4 (Blue/White wire) to terminal No. 9 (Blue/Orange wire). Left mirror should swing left. If mirror does not swing left, check for open in Blue/Orange wire between power mirror switch and left mirror. If wire is okay, check left mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTS.
  3. If mirror does not tilt down or swing left, check for open in Blue/White wire or Blue/Orange wire between power mirror switch and left mirror. If mirror operates properly, check power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
