Removal & Installation

  1. Remove door panel. See DOOR PANEL  . Remove power window switch from door panel and connect to door wiring harness. Lower glass fully.
  2. Peel off channel guide cover, then remove 3 screws. Remove center channel guide by pulling upward. Raise glass to access window glass guide bolts. Remove bolts and slide guide to rear. See Figure .
  3. Remove glass from guide. DO NOT drop glass inside door. Carefully pull glass out through window slot. Check guide pin for damage or wear. Replace as necessary. To replace guide pin, scribe a line around guide pin to mark original location.
  4. Disconnect switch connector. Using marker pen, mark location around rear roller guide bolts. Remove 6 regulator bolts. Remove regulator assembly through center hole in door.
  5. Before removing power window motor, mark location of sector gear and regulator for reassembly. Remove power window motor from regulator.
  6. To install, reverse removal procedure. Grease power window motor gear and all sliding surfaces of regulator.
