Fail-Safe Functions

During a multiplex control unit or communication line failure, output signals will use default values until fault is corrected. Each multiplex control unit will default to a hardware fail-safe output signal if CPU fails. There are also software fail-safe defaults that ignore faulty multiplex control unit signals and allow the rest of the system to continue to function.
