Anti-Lock/Traction Control: Description

Anti-Lock Brake/Traction Control System (ABS/TCS) is designed to prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking, or loss of traction during acceleration. This allows driver to maintain control of vehicle under severe driving conditions. System consists of ABS/TCS control unit, wheel sensors, wheel pulsers (trigger wheel), modulator unit, indicator light, master cylinder, power booster assembly, pump motor relay, fail-safe relay and connecting wiring. Modulator unit contains; pump, pump motor, inlet and outlet solenoid valves, TCS NO (normally open) and TCS NC (normally closed) solenoid valves, reservoir and damping chamber.
