A/T Gear Position Switch: 3.5RL
- Raise and support front of vehicle. Set parking brake and block both rear wheels. Pull carpet back under passenger's seat, to expose secondary heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) connector. Disconnect secondary HO2S connector and push it out under vehicle. Remove exhaust pipe bracket and pipe. See Figure . Remove secondary HO2S harness cover and three way catalytic converter. Remove exhaust heat shields.
- Disconnect 10-pin A/T gear position switch connector, located below and left of transaxle. See Figure . Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals of A/T gear position switch. See A/T GEAR POSITION SWITCH CONTINUITY (3.5RL) table. Replace A/T gear position switch if continuity is not as specified.
