A/T Gear Position Switch: Integra
- Remove center console. Disconnect A/T gear position switch harness connector. Note connector terminal identification. See Fig 1 .
- Using ohmmeter, check continuity between specified terminal(s) with shift lever in indicated positions. See A/T GEAR POSITION SWITCH CONTINUITY (INTEGRA)
table.NOTE: Check continuity while moving shift lever back and forth in free play area of each gear position. DO NOT touch push button on shift lever when checking continuity.
- If continuity is not as specified, adjust A/T gear position switch. See appropriate AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS article. If correct continuity cannot be obtained by adjusting A/T gear position switch, replace switch assembly.
