Both Mirrors Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using DVOM, check voltage between 10-pin connector terminal No. 1 (Yellow/Black wire) and ground. See Figure. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, check for blown fuse No. 4 (7.5-amp), located in driver's underdash fuse/relay block. If fuse is okay, check for open in Yellow/Black wire between driver's underdash fuse/relay block and power mirror switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  2. Turn ignition off. Using DVOM, check continuity between 10-pin connector terminal No. 2 (Black wire) and ground. Continuity should exist. If no continuity exists, check for open in Black wire between power mirror switch and ground connector G551. Ground connector G551 is located below carpet, under driver's seat. If continuity exists, go to LEFT MIRROR INOPERATIVE  or RIGHT MIRROR INOPERATIVE  .
