NOTE:
Before trouble shooting Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), connect scan tool to DLC and check for stored DTC P0720. If present, go to DTC P0720: COUNTERSHAFT SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
