Malfunction Indicator Light (Mil): Notes

As a bulb check, the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will come on whenever ignition switch is on and engine is not running. The MIL will also come on whenever a system failure is detected and a corresponding trouble code will set in PCM memory.
