The remaining engine oil life displayed (A) as a percentage, turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and push and release the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until the engine oil life display appears.

When the remaining engine oil life is 15 percent or less, the display shows a "SERVICE DUE SOON," message along with the maintenance item code(s) for other scheduled maintenance items needing services.

- List of maintenance sub items "B" (see MAINTENANCE SUB ITEMS )

To turn off message, press up or down buttons on the steering wheel.
When the remaining engine oil life is less than 5 percent, the display shows a "SERVICE DUE NOW," message with the maintenance item code(s).

When the remaining engine oil life is less than 0 percent, the display shows a "SERVICE PAST DUE" message.

And the "0" will be blinking in the engine oil life minder.

If the indicated required service is not done and the remaining engine oil life becomes 0 percent, the display shows a "SERVICE PAST DUE" message, the total mileage (U.S. model) or km (Canada model) after the remaining oil life becomes 0 percent, and the maintenance items code(s).

This message is displayed when the vehicle is driven over 10 miles (U.S. model) or 10 km (Canada model) after the 0 percent message is displayed.
