Driver's Power Seat Motor Test

Remove the driver's seat (see ).
- '08 model (see 07-'08 MODELS ).
- '09 model (see '09 MODEL ).
Disconnect the connector from each power seat motor.
NOTE: All connectors are terminal side of male terminals.

'09 model

Test each motor by connecting power and ground according to illustrations below. When the motor stops running, disconnect battery power immediately.

If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace:
- Slide motor ('08 model) (see '07-08 MODELS PASSENGER'S SEAT ).
- Slide Motor ('09 model) (see '09 MODEL DRIVER'S SEAT ).
- Front up-down motor ('08 model) '07-08 MODELS PASSENGER'S SEAT ).
- Rear up-down motor (see '07-08 MODELS PASSENGER'S SEAT ).
NOTE: For recline motor, check for an open in the driver's seat subharness. If the harness is OK, replace the recline motor ( '07-'08 models) (see '07- 08 MODELS DRIVER'S SEAT ).

NOTE: If '09 model front and rear up-down motor, and recline motor are faulty, replace the seat frame assembly (see '09 MODEL DRIVER'S SEAT ).
