DTC P2263: Turbocharger Boost System Performance Problem: General Description
This turbocharged engine is equipped with a mass air flow (MAF) sensor to measure the amount of intake air, a turbocharger boost sensor to measure boost pressure before the throttle, and a barometric pressure (BARO) sensor to measure atmospheric pressure.
Solenoids operate the turbocharger boost control valves. A turbocharger wastegate control valve, and a turbocharger bypass control valve are used to control boost pressure.
Boost pressure characteristics are compared to intake air volume before boost pressure control, and if it is beyond a set value it is diagnosed as a turbocharger boost system performance problem.
