DTC U0122: F-CAN Malfunction (VSA-Engine Control Module (ECM)/ Powertrain Control Module (PCM)): General Description

Using two serial signal lines (CANH and CANL), the frame controller area network (F-CAN) enables the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) and the vehicle stability assist (VSA) modulator-control unit to communicate with each other. If the ECM/PCM receives no signal from the VSA modulator-control unit for a specified time, it detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
