ATF Cooler Replacement

  1. Remove the front bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Disconnect the ATF cooler outlet hose (A) from the ATF cooler, and disconnect the ATF cooler hose (B) from the ATF cooler line.

  3. Remove the ATF cooler (C), and replace it. Install the new cooler and the bumper stiffener (D) with the bolts (E).
  4. Slide the ATF cooler outlet hose (F) over the ATF cooler line (G) until the hose end contacts with the bulge (H) of the ATF cooler line. Face down the dot (I) on the hose end, and secure the hose with the clip (J) at 6-8 mm (0.2-0.3 in.) (K) from the hose end.
  5. Slide the ATF cooler hose (L) over the ATF cooler line (M) until the hose end contacts with the bulge (N) of the ATF cooler line. Face down the dot (O) on the hose end, and secure the hose with the clip (P) at 2-4 mm (0.1-0.2 in.) (Q) from the hose end.
  6. Install the front bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
