Ignition Coil And Spark Plug Removal/Installation: Rear
- Remove the engine compartment covers (see
ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER REPLACEMENT
)
- Remove the strut brace (see
FRAME BRACE REPLACEMENT
)
- Disconnect the ignition coil connectors (A), then remove the rear ignition coils (B)

- Remove the spark plugs and inspect them (see Spark Plug Inspection )
- Apply a small amount of anti-sieze compound to the plug threads, and screw the plugs into the cylinder head, finger tight. Torque them to 22 Nm (2.2 kgf.m, 16 lb.ft).
- Install the rear ignition coils in the reverse order of removal.
