Rear Power Window Switch Test

  1. Remove the rear window switch (see FRONT PASSENGER'S POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT ), and disconnect the 14P connector from the switch
  2. Test the rear power window switch
    • When the power is connected to the No 2 terminal and ground is connected to the No 14 terminal There should be continuity between the No 8 and No 1 terminals
    • When the power is connected to the No 6 terminal and ground is connected to the No 14 terminal There should be continuity between the No 8 and No 7 terminals
    • When the power is connected to the No 8 terminal and ground is connected to the No 14 terminal, then push the rear power window switch to DOWN There should be continuity between the No 8 and No 1 terminals
    • When the power is connected to the No 8 terminal and ground is connected to the No 14 terminal, then pull the rear power window switch to UP There should be continuity between the No 8 and No 7 terminals

  3. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch
