DTC B1062: Relay Control Module Lost Communication With Combination Switch Control Unit (Headlight Switch Message); DTC B1063: Relay Control Module Lost Communication With Combination Switch Control Unit (Wiper Switch Message)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
- Wait for at least 6 seconds.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTCs B1062 and/or B1063 indicated?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections between the relay control module and combination switch control unit.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1007, B1155, B1156, and B2108 all indicated?
YES -Do the combination switch control unit input test (see COMBINATION SWITCH CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST ).
NO -Do the relay control module input test (see RELAY CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST ).
